The Bridge and Church of Sant’Antonio

The elegant bridge that gave its name to the town was built in 1622 from Sarnico stone. In 1799 it was seriously damaged by the French but was later rebuilt in 1828. Just a short distance away stands the church of Sant’Antonio, which is, in fact, known as the church “al ponte”, or at the bridge.
