The town hall of Pumenengo – Palazzo Barbò
Latitudine: 45.480183
Longitudine: 9.871129
This castle was built in the late fourteenth century for the Regina della Scala, feudatory of these lands. The keep, in stone and brick, is reflected in the waters of the Naviglio Pallavicino, an artificial branch of the River Oglio for agricultural use, and dominates the valley that leads to the nearby river. Today it houses the town council offices.
