Castle of Palazzolo

The castle is a defensive fortress made up of four towers connected to each other by walls surrounded by a moat. Three of them, known as Mirabella, Ruellina and Porta di fuori, are round, the fourth, known as Torre della Salvezza, or Tower of Salvation, is square and served as the Keep. The large courtyard leads to the communication trenches and passageways that still make it possible to reach the towers.
