Church of Santa Maria Assunta
Latitudine: 45.401641
Longitudine: 9.923499
This parish church presents a clearly visible difference in styles: the interior is predominantly Gothic whereas the façade is clearly Renaissance. This is due to the numerous alterations made over the years; nowadays nothing remains of the old mediaeval foundation. Inside, the altars by the Corbarelli family, Florentine stonemasons who worked in the north of Italy between the 17th and 18th centuries, works by Grazio Cossali and Pier Maria Bagnadore, paintings by Vittorio Trainini and decorations by Luigi Tagliaferri are all worthy of note.
