Fortress of Cividate

This fortress is located on an outcrop overlooking the River Oglio. The structure dates back to around the 12th – 14th centuries and the north tower, some stretches of wall and a monumental fortified entrance, leading to the fourteenth century village, are still standing. Today it is privately owned.
