Latitudine: 45.403513
Longitudine: 9.922202
Located in the town centre, in Via Zanardelli, Palazzo Franguelli, formerly Gualtieri, houses an extraordinary array of eighteenth century decorative elements. The palazzo, a building with an eighteenth century architectural style that was typical of Brescia, is the result of an older cluster of dwellings that has developed over the centuries. The reception hall on the main floor houses frescos by painter Saverio Gandino from Cremona, dated to 1778, and depicting the buildings and architecture of Ancient Rome enhanced by lively colours and by fantastic structural elements rendered with a striking perspective effect.
