Tristano Tower – Palazzo Barbò

Tristano Sforza had this tower built in 1455 for defensive purposes. Made entirely of bricks, it has corbels and trapdoors for defence from above. In 1550 Adalberto Pallavicino had a beautiful palazzo built next to the tower, today it is used for cultural events and is known as Palazzo Barbò after the last owners, the Barbò family, who lived there from 1800.
